Mrs. Wood is the Administrative Assistant at Key Fire Investigations with over 36 years of experience in the areas of customer service, record keeping, data entry, account receivables and accounts payable. She attended John Herron Art Institute. She previously held positions in the banking and manufacturing industries and with Eli Lilly & Company and The Trader.
Mrs. Hodge has been in the sales and administrative field for eight years. She has served with the Marion County Sheriffs Department, First American Mortgage and Pier One Imports. She has had numerous accomplishments with her past employers and has gained much experience working in diversified fields. Mrs. Hodge attended Southport High School, Indiana Wesleyan University, and I.U.P.U.I. She is currently completing her B.S. in Business Management.
Ms. Ashby is the President/CEO of Key Fire Investigations, Inc. with 23 years of fire service experience and 16 years of fire investigation experience in both the public and private sectors. During her fire service career, she has held a variety of positions, such as: Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, Inspector, Investigator, Safety Officer, and Trainer. Her extensive educational background includes an A.S. in Fire Science, B.S. in Business Administration, M.S. in Management, and is currently completing her doctoral degree. Additionally, she holds over 125 fire service certifications. National certifications include: Certified Fire Investigator, Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, Certified Fire Investigation Instructor, and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator.
Mr. Culver is the Chief Forensic Investigator of Key Fire Investigations, Inc. with over 25 years experience in the fire service. His background also includes experience and training as a law enforcement officer with the Marion County Sheriffs Department, forensic examinations, vehicle theft analysis, and traffic accident investigations. He currently holds an A.S. in Fire Science and B.S. in Management, with over 80 certificates of training in the fire service and law enforcement disciplines. Mr. Culver is one of the leading vehicle fire and theft experts in the nation. He has qualified as an expert in local, state, and federal courts, involving civil and criminal cases. National certifications include Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, Certified Forensic Auto Theft Examiner, Certified Forensic Locksmith, Certified Fire Investigation Instructor, and Certified Vehicle Accident Investigator.
Mr. Taylor has over 33 years of fire investigation and law enforcement experience. He holds master certifications in firefighting, fire investigations, tactics, and instruction with the State of Indiana. Ron attained the rank of Captain prior to leaving the Washington Twp. Fire Department and was Chief of the Investigation Division for the Office of the Indiana State Fire Marshal when he retired and pursued private investigations. His teaching experience includes teaching the Fire Investigation Course at IVY Tech State College, Indiana State Police School at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, and several classes throughout the state with the Indiana State Fire Marshals office. Besides a strong criminal background in law enforcement, he has testified as an expert witness in over 30 Indiana counties and all three jurisdictions of the Federal Court in Indiana. He is certified as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and Certified Fire Investigator Instructor with the National Association of Fire Investigators.
Mr. Ermert has 23 years experience in the fire service in Indiana. He has extensive training in fire suppression, fire service management, fire service instruction, and fire investigation in all types of fire losses. Mr. Ermert spent eleven years in fire department upper level management positions where he was responsible for management of the departments fire prevention/cause and origin bureaus. He currently holds the rank of Captain with the Franklin Township Fire Department, Indianapolis, Indiana. He is working toward his Associates Degree in Fire Science and holds over 60 fire service certifications. Since returning to the company level of the fire department, he has been employed in the private sector as Senior Fire Investigator by Key Fire Investigations, Inc. Mr. Ermert is a member of NAFI and IAAI and is a Nationally Certified Fire Investigator, Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator.
Mr. Wright has over 31 years of fire service experience in Ohio coupled with 16 years of law enforcement experience as a Deputy Sheriff for Darke County, Ohio. Mark is currently the Assistant Chief of Operations at Union City Fire & Rescue (Ohio) and a part-time firefighter and fire investigator for Butler Township Fire Department in Dayton, Ohio. He has previously held the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief. Mr. Wright was instrumental in founding the Darke County Arson Task Force where he currently serves as co-leader. Mark is an adjunct faculty member in Fire Service Technology with Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. He also serves as the Burn Officer and Flashover Instructor with the Dayton Fire Training Academy. Mr. Wright is a state certified Level II Firefighter, EMT-Basic, Incident Safety Officer, Fire Safety Inspector, Fire Investigator, Fire Instructor, Hazardous Materials Technician, Confined Space Entry/Rescue and National Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator.
Mr. Lopez is a registered professional engineer in over 20 states and over 20 years experience in electrical/design analysis and investigation. His prides himself and his reputation on the highest integrity, never compromising the truth. He believes going the extra mile to determine the origin of failures drives outstanding customer service with rapid report turn-around time. Mr. Lopez has investigated hundreds of cases and has extensive expert witness experience. He believes effective customer communication is the key to a successful relationship.
Mr. Wire is a board-up specialist with Key Fire Investigations. He is a 10 year veteran of the Greenwood Fire Department, where he is currently stationed at 92s. For the past nine years, he has served as a cadet advisor mentoring teens whose dream is to one day become a firefighter. Steve has been in the construction business since 1996 and started his own construction company in 2004, where he has been very successful.
Mr. Bundy is a board-up specialist for Key Fire Investigations. He has 21 years of experience in the fire service as both a career and volunteer firefighter. Jason really enjoys being a firefighter and helping people in the community. He also been in construction most of his adult life and enjoys building and remodeling on his days off from the fire house. He also owns a landscaping and mowing business for the past eight years. Jason believes it is always good to look back on things you've done and help people in need.
